Our first journey, in October 2025, was the subject of a daily blog so I won't repeat that here 

Later trips will have a condensed summary within these pages, so that when I am old and infirm I can look back and remember some of the things I have done, the places we have been and the people we met

We purchased a 1/6 share of this narrowboat in June 2025, and this lets us choose six weeks per year to spend on the boat. If we're lucky we will pick up spare weeks that other people cannot use. Our first scheduled fortnight afloat was in August 2025 and we had already booked our trip to Canada. So we offered up these weeks, and I now forget who took the boat out at that time
